Getting On with your Neighbours

Noise Restriction Regulations NSW:


Music is prohibited between midnight and 8am on Friday, Saturday and any day preceding a public holiday. It's restricted from 10pm to 8am on any other day. 


How early can you make noise in  residential area?

Noise restrictions apply Monday to Friday: before 7 am and after 8 pm. Weekends and public holidays: before 9 am and after 8 pm. Note: The prohibited times apply when the noise can be heard from inside a habitable room of another residential premises. Any residential noise can still be considered unreasonable outside the prohibited times.


  

Parties

Owners and Residents are welcome to entertain as they wish. 

To show consideration to other residents please:

  • Be polite and advise your neighbours of your intentions e.g. place a note under the doors of the people on your floor and the floors above and below, or in the lift or on the notice board.
  • Be responsible for your rubbish i.e. organise/purchase extra bins before your party. There is no limit the number of recycling bins we can have
  • Do not leave the security doors open.
  • Pick up any refuse, cigarette butts or bottles from the lawn and building surrounds the next day.
  • Please observe the noise restriction laws above

Request to Keep a Pet

Keeping pets in an apartment block can give rise to complaints from other owners and residents..


Should you wish to keep a pet in your apartment, we ask that you fill out the attached Request to Keep Pet Application form and submit with references, where by you agree to the itemised rules and procedures to avoid risk to and complaints from other neighbours in the block.


Please download and review that following form as well as reading the relevant Kalamunda By Laws before submitting your request for permission to keep a pet in your apartment.
